In this particular project I wanted to highlight examples from the civil rights era of each of what the book lists as anti-racist, assimilationist, and segregationist, which we have been discussing all unit. The chapter that this will accompany is one that speaks about a variety of topics during the 1950s and 60s but specifically mentions both MLK Jr. and Malcolm X, although it only provides some interesting facts about each without really getting into their backstory.
